So you wanna be a Guest Diva?

Wags 'n Whiskers Rubber Stamps is looking for one guest designer to join our group!

Here are the rules for entering the Guest Diva contest:

1. Send us a link to one of your cards and your blog by Midnight EST on October 4th. It can be something you have already created, but it must include a colored image. Make sure to include contact information so we know how to reach you.

2. You must be able to use Digital Images (the stamps are being manufactured so we will be using digi stamps for the sneak peeks for this release).

3. You must be able to create a card or project using the digital image before Oct 9th and post the card on your blog on October 9th. The winner will not be chosen until October 5th, so you must be able to create a card between October 5th through October 8th to be able to participate.

4. Spread the word about our company, blog, and blog hop on your blog…grab the logo in the sidebar and post it on your blog.

The winner will receive the full release (you will receive the rubber form of your stamps when they are available for shipping) and will remain a Guest Diva through the end of November!

The Contest runs until midnight on October 4th. We will notify the winner on October 5th and we will announce the winner on our blog on October 6th.

Hawaii Under Tsunami Threat - Tsunami Watch 09/29/09

Heightened alert in Hawaii has been released as a report by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)on 8:57 AM today revealed that 8.3 magnitude earthquake has been identified with the Samoa Islands Region. Although a task force is still determining if the threat is ominous to coastal areas in Hawaii, the data that NOAA generated revealed that an earthquake that strong on the Richter scale can cause severe destruction even if the area is far off from its epicenter.

We can all just pray for Hawaii that they will be safe. The expected arrival of the tsunami, in case that happens, will be on 1:11 PM HST. NOAA will be releasing updates about the Hawaii Tsunami Watch every hour. Here's the NOAA report about the tsunami threat in Hawaii.

Latest New Moon Posters Are Out - See RPattz, Kristen, Taylor and Dakota!

The Twilight sequel New Moon is just 53 days away and Summit Entertainment has released 3 versions of this film's posters just to excite the fans looking forward to it. In the first poster, you can see Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) in a pose where their arms are all over each other leaving no space in between. The second poster features Taylor Lautner flexing his muscles with the werewolf pack. While the third one, it centers on the new character Jane (Dakota Fanning) who's a member of the Volturi Guard. This is a coven of vampires seen right behind her.

New Moon is expected to hit it big when it will be shown November 20 this year. Expect tween girls will be flocking the theaters again as they argue who's cuter Jacob or Edward. Below are the rest of the New Moon movie posters released September 28:

Derrion Albert Video Uncut - Chicago Teen Fatal Beating Caught on Video

Derrion Albert is just a regular 16 year old who has a bright future ahead of him. Yet, last Thursday, September 17, Derrion met an unfortunate situation on his way home from school. The authorities believe that Derrion was just in a wrong place at the wrong time after being clubbed to his end.

Communities are now denouncing on what happened to Derrion Albert. This Derrion Albert video uncut should be a wake up call to Chicago Public School system on how they should deal with the gangs that hang around their premises. Derrion Albert was astudent of the Christian Fenger Academy High School. The latest reports from USA Today said that four people are now being held responsible for this - they are Silvonus Shannon, Eugene Riley, Eric Carson and another unidentified teen. I haven't heard of the films she made, but she appeared on TV shows like Family Matters, Cold Case, Ghost Whisperer and Crossing Jordan. Patricia has also been a Maxim cover girl.

Mike Leach - Texas Tech Coach Bans Twitter Use for Football Team

Too bad, Texas Tech team are taboo-ed to use Twitter! That's not an alliteration joke but it's actually true - Coach Mike Leach from the Texas Tech Red Raiders has issued a ban of using the online micro-blogging platform craze because his tardiness in their meeting was broadcasted to the world. Yesterday, the Texas Tech team lost to Houston Cougars with a score of 29-28. Leach's late arrival during their Sunday meeting was blamed by everyone as the cause of their loss.

The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reported that it was the Texas Tech linebacker named Marlon Williams who first tweeted on his account on why he was stuck in their meeting room as "the head coach can't even be on time." This controversial message on Twitter has now been deleted. Now, after their loss, the lineman Brandon Carter bitterly snapped "This is not how I saw our season" in his Twitter account. For this, Brandon Carter was suspended indefinitely for the alleged violation of team rules and now his Twitter has disappeared in the Twit-sphere altogether. Many Jonas Brothers fans are digging up information about Courtney Galiano, a contestant of a reality TV dance show So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD). They are asking, how old is Courtney Galiano? Well, Courtney is just 21 years old and this former Knicks City Dancer has been identified as Nick Jonas' date at the Kings of Leon concert in AMC theatre Toronto.

Soulja Boy Fiance - Rapper Proposes to Girlfriend Rosa Acosta?

Best-selling rapper Soulja Boy (DeAndre Ramone in real life) has been strongly been rumored to have proposed to his fiancé - a Latina model named Rosa Acosta. These rumors flew after the 19 year old recording artist have proposed marriage to Rosa, a website reported.

Mediatakeout reported that a very reliable source, who's also a celebrity, confirmed that Soulja Boy and Rosa are indeed planning to get married anytime soon. When Dorothea Barth Jorgensen last visited London she was on a serious wave of success - she finished up FW09 with over 40 shows to her name AND an exclusive with Miuccia Prada. Since then she's racked up 10 Magazine, W Magazine with Craig McDean, Vogue Italia with Steven Meisel, who then booked her for the Alberta Ferretti campaign, and she's already got two October editorials out - Vogue Japan with Willy Vanderperre and W again, this time with Paolo Roversi. In-demand!

After a knockout New York we didn't even need to try to book Dorothea for London so when she arrived we put her in the fastest car available to get her around her shows - Pringle, Topshop Unique and THREE looks at Burberry, including the amazing silver coat, were her highlights.

BREAKOUT SEASON - JUSTINE BOOMER

Every season it's exciting to see who will really come alive and start making their mark during shows, and this season we were thrilled with the progress of new recruit Justine Boomer. The 17 year old Canadian caused a stir when she first walked in to the agency, and our gut feelings were right as she booked a fantastic first season, topped off by an appearance for Luella and the responsibility of the key piece in her countryman Todd Lynn's incredible show. She's heading to Paris now, but we're looking forward to having her back in London very soon!

NEW SCHOOL GLAM - DENISA D

Another one of our fab Czech girls, Denisa Dvorakova has been building on a strong year including 10 Magazine and the current LK Bennett campaign with a great showing at LFW. She and Sessilee bagged themselves one of our favourite cars from the collection we borrowed in association with Marque2, and made like movie stars zipping round town in their biggest shades. Denisa's look translated perfectly at Jasper Conran, where the red lips and big hair were reminiscent of old school Hollywood glamour, and the slick look at Osman was another of our favourite looks on her.

CHARLOTTE di CALYPSO STORMS LONDON

We were thrilled to welcome Charlotte di Calypso to the Elite London ranks just in time for LFW, and we couldn't have been happier with her first season with us. She and close buddy Constance Jablonski raced around town in their Maserati Gransport (courtesy of Marque2) booking up an absolute storm - including Matthew Williamson, Erdem, Issa, Paul Smith, and Julien Macdonald. Our favourite Charlotte moment? the green lip at Paul Smith was a look few girls could pull off so well, and her sequinned hotpants at Matthew Williamson were just wicked!

VA-VA-VOOM VIVIENNE

Vivienne Westwood's Red Label collection was as eye catchingly- crazy as ever, a heady mix of her signature tailoring, tea dresses, and shorts of various dimensions, all set off by a rowdy selection of accessories (we loved Pixie's Viv-homage glasses) and hairstyling. Sigail, continuing a super strong season, led the way for the Elite girls, with Fabienne, Cassandra and Julie D also featuring in the show.

Cassandra, who turned up so well styled that some of the press thought she had been dressed for the show BEFORE hair and makeup!

Amsterdam-born Fabienne has worked almost every single day since she arrived in London, and her natural Westwood curves made her a quick booking for this show!

After opening Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B collection in New York, British girl Julie D's quirky edge is certainly making her an SS10 favourite

CZECH HER OUT...

One of our hottest new faces to watch is Czech beauty Barbora Dvorakova - having already walked for the likes of Prada and Vivienne Westwood last season we were ready for a big SS10 season for her, and she didn't disappoint, with Burberry the first to snap her up (before she even arrived in town!) One of a cast of fresh young faces for the future (including Dorothea), Barbora rocked some of the best pieces in the show, including the blue draped skirt and killer lurex trousers. And of course she rolled up to all her shows in every supermodel-in-the-making's essential accessory - an eye catching car!

Elite ♥ PPQ!

The first big 'event' of the London season, PPQ went for wow factor by choosing all-black casting for their show. Which worked out great for Elite - we had 5 girls out on the runway in front of the usual celeb-heavy PPQ front row: Sessilee, Shantelle, Adama, Georgie and Sigail. Loving the retro inspired feel of the collection too!

Gmail Fail September 24 - Gmail is temporarily unable to access your Contacts

Many Gmail subscribers are again getting irked today as the "Contacts" of the email service is not accessible. Although you can still login like usual, you cannot readily access the email addresses of the people who are listed in your address list. Likewise, GTalk is also having problems and this is why you cannot chat too.

I tried to email successfully but I have to manually extract the email address of the receiver. The official Gmail blog has yet to reveal what is causing this glitch. For now, you might just want to extend a little bit of effort trying to figure out the email addresses of your friends. Good luck!
