Kristine's quick Christmas card Tutorial

Here is the tutorial on how to make a quick Christmas card:

Cut some cardstock in 6x12" and fold it in half.

The image is Sweet Danni and Bella from Wags 'n Whiskers. To save time I only coloured some elements of the image. I used Touch Marker Wine Red. The patterned papers I used are from Melissa Frances.

Cut cardstock and patterned papers. The measurements I used are:

White Cardstock: 1 piece 14,8x14,8 cm and 1 piece 13,5x11,5 cm
Striped paper: 14,3x14,3 cm

Music note paper: 13x11 cm

Red Cardstock: 7x10 cm

Image: 6,5x9,5 cm

Then ink the edges of the image and the patterned papers with some brown ink. I used Distress Ink Vintage Photo.


Use adhesive tape to glue the image and the patterned papers to the cardstock panels.

This is how the panels look before you assemble the card.

Assemble the two patterned papers panels to each other. Then you tie some ribbons to your card.

And then you put the image over the ribbons.

Add some embellies to the card. I used some bling swirls from Prima, felt snowflake from SU and glitter snowflake from MM.

Make a white panel to use inside the card. The measurements of mine is 14,8x14,8 cm.

Stamp some snowflake stamps and sentiments on it before you glue it on the cardstock. I also onked the edges of this white panel with the brown ink.

Assemble the panels to the red card. At the end you use some Stickles (I used Frosted Lace) on some parts of your image. I used it on the sock and cat's hat. And also on the ribbon on Danni's dress.

When the Stickles was dry I sprayed the whole card with some Shimmerz Spritz to make it sparkle even more.

Kim Kardashian Gets Black Eye After Charity Boxing Match

Poor Kim Kardashian! She just wanted to give to charity and now she's nursing a black eye from it. Kim did not realize that the girl she will be fighting with had hands made to land on her face. Kim exclaimed that: "My girl was a good sport, but she was tough! I knew I had to do it for charity, since that's what it was all about, but man, my girl could throw a punch!" Luckily, she’s okay now and needs concealer to hide what’s happened to her left eye.

It appears that Kim was not only the Kardashian family member who got punched black and blue. Her brother Rob Kardashian was brought to the hospital for the concussion he obtained. The supposed to be "friendly" boxing match of Rob went crazy when someone from the crowd got into the ring - that person was a trained fighter! Kim recounted that:

At one point Rob's mask fell off and when he put his hands down he got hit in the face and ended up in hospital with a concussion.

Rob's a strong guy and can definitely hold his own, but he wasn't expecting to get hit after his mask had fallen off! This guy just got really down and dirty!

The charity event was held in order for the Kardashian family to obtain bids from the public to fight with them for charity. The winning bidders was supposed to be weighed in and that apparently did not happen. Because of what Kim and Rob got, sister Khloe Kardashian and the boyfriend of her other sister Kourtney, Scott Disick, withdrew from their scheduled fights. Next time, the Kardashian family should think of other charity event ideas that won't get them black and blue afterwards!

Kristen Stewart Mum About Robert Pattinson Romance Rumors

Are they breaking up or are they just cooling off? Don't ask Kristen Stewart about it! Coz she won't answer any press questions about Robert Pattinson! Which is kind of a drag, actually! K-Stew has just this to say to all of the burning questions fired at her: "I probably would've answered it if people hadn't made such a big deal about it."

During the Entertainment Weekly interview in Vancouver, Kristen Stewart would refuse to blurt out any juicy details. She's been actually irritated with all the fuss their getting to the point that she said Rob and her aren't dating because she's a lesbian. Of course, we know it's just a joke to avoid further digging into what's the real score between them. With all these questions about their romance unanswered, fans will surely be flocking in theaters on November 20 to watch New Moon to see if there's a semblance of romance in both reel and real life. If there’s any consolation, at least Kristen is not denying what she and Rob have – whatever it is!

Jessica Simpson-Grand Ole Opry Gets Love from Dolly Parton

Jessica Simpson made some stir in Grand Ole Opry when she appeared so busty in her debut last year. Some Grand Ole Opry fans were too conscious about Jessica's bumpers that one fan even commented in People magazine that "she must have some clothes on". Today, with the Jessica Simpson Grand Ole Opry issue, she gets some love from Dolly Parton, who's also a double-D just like her. Dolly, through her tweets, understood what Jessica feels about having big chests.

For Dolly, she sure gained a trademark for her bosoms that they "served her well". She quipped that: "I don't know if I'm supporting them or they're supporting me. But of course I've had them jacked up a bit. And they're part of the persona. It always takes a bit of pressure off me". Victoria Beckham: Teacup Pigs for David Beckham

Victoria Beckham thinks that two teacup pigs are a perfect Christmas gift for football hubby David Beckham. In fact, Posh Spice did not bat an eyelash spending £1,400 ($2,315) for two miniature pot-bellied Gloucester Old Spot cross-breed as an early treat for her beloved husband.As one source quipped: "'What can you possibly buy the multi-millionaire, superstar footballer who has absolutely everything? In the case of David Beckham, the answer is, obviously, a pair of cuddly designer piglets. Victoria fell in love with them and realized she'd found the perfect present."

It is said that the former Spice Girls member adored the two pigs which David Beckham named Pinky and Perky, based on popular characters in a children's TV show. Unknown to us, these teacup pigs are clean and easy to train. David and Victoria plan to let these cute little piggies run inside their house and be on their laps while watching their favorite TV shows. David and Victoria are not the lone celebrities who are getting teacup pigs as pets. Recently, hotel heiress Paris Hilton got one, while Harry Potter star Rupert Grint also purchased this loving pet earlier.

Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin to host Oscars 2010

For the first time since 1929, two people will host the Oscar Awards on March 7, 2010. Yes, comedian Steve Martin and '30 Rock' star Alec Baldwin were tapped to be co-hosts for the 82nd Academy Awards. This star-studded ceremony is expected to draw millions of viewers and both comedians are ecstatic that they were chosen.

For Steve, it is his third time to be at the forefront of the said affair. He snapped a joke that: "I am happy to co-host the Oscars with my enemy Alec Baldwin." Alec Baldwin, on the other hand, is a neophyte at this duty. Cognizant of Steve's musical abilities, Alec snapped back that: "I don't play the banjo but I'm thrilled to be hosting the Oscars - it's the opportunity of a lifetime." Oscars producers Adam Shankman and Bill Mechanic informed that they are happy with the duo and the team of Steve and Alec is a "perfect pair" that will add excitement at the 2010 Oscars. As early as right now, there are many bets flying for the nominations. Meryl Streep is said to be a shoo-in for Julie and Julia, while George Clooney is also a frontrunner for Up in the Air. After the shame of Glitter, Mariah Carey is bound to be happy this time because her critically-acclaimed film Precious is up in the running for Best Picture next year.
