However this song is so empowering to woman. So many of us have been in a relationship and felt like while in the midst of the relationship, that man was the best thing since slice bread and once we were given the opportunity to step outside the situation, we realize "that man" wasn't the one at all.
Sometimes a bad relationship really makes us appreciate, when the right man comes along and I believe that is the essence of this song.
